House Financing Committee
June 3, 2000

Dear Brothers, Sorry I could not make the June meeting. I hope everything is well with all the brothers and that, like always, beautiful, smelly Troy treats them well. Below is a summary report of the progress I have made in researching our financing options and very high level summary of some numbers from the treasurer, fund raising chair and the finance chair.

I have sent off initial correspondences to the following seven banks and lending companies.
Albany Mortgage
Cohoes Savings Bank
Fleet Bank
Key Bank
Olympus Capital
Pioneer Savings Bank
Troy Savings Bank

With the exception of Olympus Capital, I have yet to receive any feedback from these companies. That in itself is no reason to be discouraged as most of the correspondences went out this week. I will be following up with them again later this week and be adding more institutions to that list as I find them. Again, if anyone gets a lead on lending companies specializing in these type of loans please forward their name and number to me.

Lastly, the preliminary information that I have regarding the cost and financing of the project is below. While I still need to find companies that are willing to lend to a fraternity, I cannot begin the application process until some of these numbers are solidified.
